2. Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh of KXIP - 206 vs RCB, (2011)



A real storm was witnessed at the stadiums of Dharmshala when the Punjab openers decided to play aggressive shots against RCB. The violent attacks of both the batsmen were a treat to watch for the fans. Gilchrist made 106 and Marsh with his brilliant knockout of 79* beats Bangalore by 111 runs. 

3. David Warner and Naman Ojha of Delhi Daredevils - 189* vs DC(Deccan Chargers), 2012



After the loss of Sehwag, these two handled the situation very neatly. David Warner with his aggressive performance smashed a century while Ojha remained excellent support and made 64 runs while remaining not out. Warner made his second IPL century than with 10 fours and 7 sixes whereas Ojha made 2 fours and 5 sixes. 

The then Delhi Daredevils teammates, Warner and Ojha then interestingly went to the Sunrisers Hyderabad team after the auctions when the Deccan Chargers had to sell their shares. 

4. Herschelle Gibbs and Rohit Sharma of MI - 167* vs KKR (2012) 



Rohit Sharma and Gibbs playing against KKR at the Eden Gardens was one of the most entertaining matches to watch. It is by standards one of the best partnerships in IPL considering that it was Kolkata’s dominant home. The duo took it on themselves and ensured that the morale of the KKR side took a serious hit. Herschelle Gibbs made 66* while Sharma hit a century.

5. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal of RCB – 181* vs RR, (2021)



Last but definitely not least our favorite, skipper Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal partnership. They had played stunning games to win against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021. A hard-working and determined Padikkal smashed his first IPL hundred scoring 101 runs off 52 balls. Giving their team RCB the opportunity to win this game by 10 wickets as they chased down the big total quite comfortably after the soaring innings of Padikkal and Virat Kohli, the skipper while leading the team made a useful contribution of 72 runs off 47 balls that included 6 fours and 3 sixes.
