A Public interest case (PIL) has been recorded under the watchful eye of the Bombay High Court on Tuesday looking for harms from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to use towards securing clinical prerequisites for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The PIL looked for dropping or delay of matches played during the Indian Premier League (IPL). A couple of hours after the appeal was recorded, the Board suspended the continuous period of the competition after various cases were accounted for among players and staff.

"The BCCI would not like to settle on the wellbeing of the players, support staff, and different members associated with getting sorted out the IPL. This choice was taken keeping the security, wellbeing, and prosperity of the relative multitude of partners as a top priority," the BCCI said in an articulation.
